Hidden Valley was written 4-5 years ago where I was residing in Kamloops B.C. It was previously released on the album Stranger released in 2020. At this time the world flue had caught hold and my music endeavours sort of went on hold. To which I then begin re-visiting my songs with a newer approach. The song is about the death of a hidden place I'd go to get away. Being a more and more common occurrence with deforestation and ever expanding cities. This song goes out to those who've lost a once loved destination.

I don’t know the name or the road
That gets you there

Where the pavement ends and the sky extends
Where air is sweet and the grass grows free
Where the valley is quiet as a coffin
And still as an oak
It’s calm like the bed on the lake bellow
Where it’s still like kindle of a small flame
Where the ridges whistle in the wind and the rain

Well now we sit beside this grave threw the night
Until we watch the morning light
As it comes up on the other side

There’s a place I used to go to hide
Over the mountain and through the divide
Across the land that is far and wide
